Reblogging to my other account. But yes. I know that feeling all too well. It was the reason my Jim blog died out. People just weren’t ready to wait for me to come around and tackle the longer RPs. Though what I’ve seen around here, it won’t be a problem at all, which is why I’m so eagerly trying to jump to the fandom.

I’ve got this friend of mine with whom I am roleplaying and it usually takes her a month or so to come around from writer’s block. It does not bother me at all because I can always find other distraction. Then after a month of waiting we have a couple of days of amazing RP and then it all goes down for a few more weeks again.

And this is just to show that even though I may seem like this overly excited, eager RPer who is constantly like “what-when-where-now”, I indeed can and will wait. And won’t have a Bitch Fit like equal to Eru’s if it takes people time to reply to me.

“Of course. I won’t leave you again until you’re ready for it.” To Admiral Damian was like a puppy suffering from separation anxiety. He had never known he had made such an impact on him. They had only had one deep conversation with each other and other than that, all they had done, was visiting places in order to do some basic training. Then again, Daimian had always fit the profile of a young and fragile boy filled with emotions and without any means to control them when needed.

“Would you like to come home with me? Back to London, I mean? Rumour has it that Jim is back.”

“He is?” Damian arched a brow, not entirely sure if he cared about Moriarty being back or not. In the end he was just his boss, it wasn’t like his life depended on it.
Well perhaps it did..
“I’ll have to get my stuff…”

“Do that. And on the flight home, I want to hear everything you’ve done during my absence. I take it that you didn’t just sit still. I want to know what you’ve learnt so I know not to teach you the same things all over again.” Admiral takes a step back and wipes a few tears off the boy’s face. “There. Are we good?” He stares deep into Damian’s eyes in order to get a straight and sincere answer to his question.

Time to come home

The words of the younger man pierced the heart of the older like a sharpened dagger. His boys where everything he had and if Admiral had one weakness, it was the will to be in good terms with his protegés. Of course it was only natural for them to lash back at him at times when he pushed them out of their comfort zone, but Damian’s statement at the moment of their reunion felt somewhat different. It hurt and Admiral was afraid that a simple apology wouldn’t make things better. At the moment he had no idea how to regain Damian’s trust.

His grip grew tighter. “I’m sorry”, he whispered, his voice hoarse. He stroke the boy’s back gently, trying to calm the boy down. He had had no idea the boy had already grown so fond of him.

The young soldier simply held onto the other and tried to regain his composure, only to notice it was only slipping further out of his grip.
By the time the Admiral told him he was ‘sorry’ ,Damian was already crying. Thick tears rolling from his cheeks and into the other his shirt.
“You better make this up to me..” he choked out between sobs, trying to lighten his own mood.

In the package there was also a single key with the number of the appartment carved into it. Damian wouldn’t need two since the other one was in Admiral’s possession.

Admiral felt bad for leaving the boy almost on his own for a month only after their training had just begun, but orders were orders and Mr. Moriarty had been very clear that if the older man wouldn’t do as the criminal master mind said, the consequences to both him and his beloved boys would be most dreadful. He old man wanted to make it all up to the boy and thinking the impulsive young man wouldn’t accept plane tickets, Admiral had decided to invite the boy back to him and offer him a place to stay while in America.

The very morning Admiral had sent the package on it’s way, he had flown to New York himself and was now waiting for Damian to - hopefully - arrive as soon as the delivery reached him.

Damian had found the package on his doorstep, twirled it in his hand a couple times and had made sure it wasn’t a bomb in his way to the living room of his completely empty apartment. Some dingy place he had barely managed to rent after doing things he had promised himself not to do again.

He plucked the key from the box and eyed the card suspiciously, chewing his lower lip before nodding. Knowing his respons wouldn’t be seen by anybody, he just had to agree with his own decision.

”..Alright, but you’re the one inviting me” he smiled, mumbling to himself.

Pulling his phone from his pocket and tapping the keys, texting the man as he kicked the door shut behind him ‘Missed me that much?’

Admiral was lying on the couch as his phone buzzed. He took it out of his pocket and smiled with nothing but warmth as he saw, who had sent the text. Reading it brought a slightly amused grin on his face just moments after. Always so…cocky. Young men had a tendency to have a hard time admitting their own feelings and when they were hurt, they acted up.

Admiral himself had never had any trouble showing his emotions and neither was it hard for him to say he was sorry when such act was due. It also didn’t take him long to text back to the boy with a single word: “Yes. -A”

‘Good, I’m taking my bag with me, no chance I’m leaving it behind’

Damian had flung the shoulder bag around himself and was on his way through the city, picking up some bagles and a flask of coffee before rushing off toward the bus stop.

It was simply to hot to keep running around, he had no thoughts of dying through a heat stroke.

It took the ex-soldier half an hours to make his way through the busy city, thanks to the busy bus and the fact he nearly got beat up for ‘taking someones seat’

One of the many reasons he hated public transport.

Once in the building he kept his eyes to the floor, humming a song as he walked past the desk lady and flashing her a wink, going straight for the elevator.

He couldn’t deny he was feeling a little nervous.

Admiral had been thinking what to do or what to say to Damian when he finally stepped through the door. He didn’t even notice how the minutes flew by until 30 minutes had already passed. It had been merciful of Damian to actually text and tell him that he was actually coming. If it had not been for Damian’s text, at this point Admiral would’ve started to doubt if the boy was coming at all. He hadn’t moved from the couch and he wouldn’t do so until he would hear the lock on his door open.

Damian stopped in front of the door, looking up at it, green eyes weary of wat lay ahead. He’d pull through.

The ex-soldier put up a smile and pulled the key from his pocket, slipping it into the door and twisting it until he heard a new yet familiar ‘click’

“Honey I’m home?”

He hummed in a musical tone, using the music on his phone through some earpieces to get the tone just right.

At the very moment Admiral heard the click and the door flung open, the older man got up from his couch and walked straight to the door to greet Damian. He didn’t even let the boy close the door behind him as he took his hand and pulled the younger one into a firm and long embrace. His newest protegé was alive even though he had had to leave him all alone in the big bad world with nothing but a few weeks of teachings behind him. Lucky for Admiral, Damian was at least a soldier and not a complete rookie.

He was suprised, stunned and very much shocked to suddenly look up and see the Admiral pull him in like that. His eyes wide in shock as he froze in his spot.

He had been right… and it was his fault. But this was home.

Damian stayed still in his spot and stared back into the room behind the man, feeling his wall crumble down as he brought his hands up to grip hold of the other his shirt.

This wasn’t supposed to happen, he had promised himself he wouldn’t care.

“I hate you…” he whispered, pulling himself closer and breaking as he burried his face to the Admiral’s shoulder.
